Creatine

Definition: An amino acid that occurs in vertebrate tissues and in urine. In muscle tissue, creatine generally occurs as phosphocreatine. Creatine is excreted as CREATININE in the urine.  do not confuse with CREATININE; CREATINE PHOSPHATE see PHOSPHOCREATINE
