Cyanides

Definition: Inorganic salts of HYDROGEN CYANIDE containing the -CN radical. The concept also includes isocyanides. It is distinguished from NITRILES, which denotes organic compounds containing the -CN radical.  inorganic salts having -CN radical: differentiate from NITRILES which are organic with -CN
