Pneumatosis Cystoides Intestinalis

Definition: A condition characterized by the presence of multiple gas-filled cysts in the intestinal wall, the submucosa and/or subserosa of the INTESTINE. The majority of the cysts are found in the JEJUNUM and the ILEUM.      Other names Intestinalis, Pneumatosis Cystoides; Cystoides Intestinalis, Pneumatosis
