Definition: Physiologically active prostaglandins found in many tissues and organs. They show pressor activity, are mediators of inflammation, and have potential antithrombotic effects.  /biosyn /physiol permitted; for analogs, coord NIM with PROSTAGLANDINS, SYNTHETIC (IM); /chem syn permitted: do not convert to PROSTAGLANDINS, SYNTHETIC; DF: PGD
