Death Domain Receptor Signaling Adaptor Proteins

More information in Books or onNLM PubMed
Definition: Intracellular signaling adaptor proteins that bind to the cytoplasmic death domain region found on DEATH DOMAIN RECEPTORS. Many of the proteins in this class take part in intracellular signaling from TUMOR NECROSIS FACTOR RECEPTORS.
Examples CASP8 and FADD-Like Apoptosis Regulating Protein; CRADD Signaling Adaptor Protein; Edar-Associated Death Domain Protein; Fas-Associated Death Domain Protein; Receptor-Interacting Protein Serine-Threonine Kinases; TNF Receptor-Associated Death Domain Protein
Other names fas Death Inducing Signaling Complex Components; Fas DISC Components; fas Death-Inducing Signaling Complex Components; Fas-DISC Components; Death Inducing Signaling Complex Proteins; Death Effector Domain Signaling Adaptor Proteins; DISC (Death Inducing Signaling Complex); DED Signaling Adaptor Proteins
