More information in Books or onNLM PubMed
Definition: A CYCLIN C dependent kinase that is an important component of the mediator complex. The enzyme is activated by its interaction with CYCLIN C and plays a role in transcriptional regulation by phosphorylating RNA POLYMERASE II.      Other names Protein Kinase, Cdk8; Kinase, Cdk8 Protein; Kinase, Cdk8 Cyclin-Dependent; Cyclin-Dependent Kinase, Cdk8; Cyclin Dependent Kinase 8; Cdk8 Cyclin Dependent Kinase; Cell Division Protein Kinase 8; Cdk8 Protein Kinase; Cdk8 Cyclin-Dependent Kinase
