Definition: Inborn errors of bilirubin metabolism resulting in excessive amounts of bilirubin in the circulating blood, either because of increased bilirubin production or because of delayed clearance of bilirubin from the blood.  do not use /congen & do not coord with INFANT, NEWBORN, DISEASES
