Definition: Neoplasm drug therapy involving an extracorporeal circuit with temporary exclusion of the tumor-bearing area from the general circulation during which high concentrations of the drug are perfused to the isolated part.  restricted to a special technique in cancer therapy; do not confuse with INFUSIONS, INTRA-ARTERIAL which is also used in cancer therapy; Manual 24.4.2.5+    Other names Regional Perfusion Antineoplastic Chemotherapy; Perfusion Cancer Chemotherapy, Regional; Cancer Chemotherapy, Regional Perfusion; Regional Perfusion Cancer Chemotherapy; Isolation Perfusion Cancer Chemotherapy
