(McGraw-Hill Dictionary of Scientific and Technical Terms, 6th ed)  IM as the abstraction; do not confuse with TIME FACTORS, the NIM coordinate with a given subject; "diurnal" & "nocturnal": consider preferably CIRCADIAN RHYTHM
