Definition: The neural systems which act on VASCULAR SMOOTH MUSCLE to control blood vessel diameter. The major neural control is through the sympathetic nervous system.  /drug eff: consider also VASOCONSTRICTOR AGENTS & VASODILATOR AGENTS
