Definition: A group of irregular rod-shaped bacteria that stain gram-positive and do not produce endospores.  do not confuse with GRAM-POSITIVE ASPOROGENOUS RODS, REGULAR; avoid: too general; prefer specific families & genera; infection: coord IM with GRAM-POSITIVE BACTERIAL INFECTIONS (IM); DF: GRAM POS ASPOROGENOUS RODS IRREGULAR
