Definition: A GLYCOINOSITOL PHOSPHOLIPID MEMBRANE ANCHOR containing ephrin found in developing tectum. It has been shown to mediate the bundling of cortical axons and repel the axonal growth of retinal ganglia axons. It is found in a variety of adult tissues of BRAIN; HEART; and KIDNEY.      Other names AL-1; REK7 Ligand AL 1; LERK 7 Protein; Ephrin A5; AL 1 Protein; Repulsive Axon Guidance Signal Protein; REK7 Ligand AL-1; RAGS Protein; LERK-7 Protein; AL-1 Protein
