Nasal Lavage

Definition: Irrigation of the nose with saline or irrigation solutions for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. It is used to remove irritants, allergens, or microorganisms from the nose.  do not confuse with NASAL LAVAGE FLUID, the washings obtained by lavage
