Definition: A superfamily of polymyarian nematode worms. An important characteristic of this group is the presence of three prominent lips around the mouth of the organism.  do not confuse with the genera ASCARIDIA and ASCARIS; infection: coordinate IM with ASCARIDIDA INFECTIONS (IM); coordinate with specific helminth term (ANTIGENS, HELMINTH; etc) if pertinent
