Definition: A genus of nematodes of the superfamily ASCARIDOIDEA whose species usually inhabit the intestine.  a genus of nematodes; do not confuse with ASCARIDIA, another genus, both belonging to the superfamily of ASCARIDOIDEA; do not confuse with ACARI (mites & ticks) or ACARUS (mites); infection
