Ciguatoxins

Definition: Polycyclic ethers produced by Gambierdiscus (DINOFLAGELLATES) from gambiertoxins, which are ingested by fish which in turn may be ingested by humans who are susceptible to the CIGUATERA POISONING.  /antag permitted but consider also ANTITOXINS; coordinate IM with source of ciguatoxin
