Definition: A steroid hormone that regulates the processes of MOLTING or ecdysis in insects. Ecdysterone is the 20-hydroxylated ECDYSONE.  do not confuse with ECDYSONE    Other names 20-Hydroxyecdysone; Beta Ecdysone; 20 Hydroxyecdysone; Crustecdysone; Beta-Ecdysone
