Glottis

Definition: The vocal apparatus of the larynx, situated in the middle section of the larynx. Glottis consists of the VOCAL FOLDS and an opening (rima glottidis) between the folds.  glottitis: coordinate NIM with LARYNGITIS (IM); stenosis
