Heparitin Sulfate

Definition: A heteropolysaccharide that is similar in structure to HEPARIN. It accumulates in individuals with MUCOPOLYSACCHARIDOSIS.  do not confuse X ref HEPARAN SULFATE with HEPARAN SULFATE PROTEOGLYCANS
