Taurodeoxycholic Acid

Definition: A bile salt formed in the liver by conjugation of deoxycholate with taurine, usually as the sodium salt. It is used as a cholagogue and choleretic, also industrially as a fat emulsifier.  a bile acid; /biosyn /physiol permitted
