Achromobacter

Definition: A genus of gram-negative, strictly aerobic, non-spore forming rods. Soil and water are regarded as the natural habitat. They are sometimes isolated from a hospital environment and humans.  infection: coord IM with GRAM-NEGATIVE BACTERIAL INFECTIONS (IM)
