Definition: A subtype of bone morphogenetic protein receptors with low affinity for BONE MORPHOGENETIC PROTEINS. They are constitutively active PROTEIN-SERINE-THREONINE KINASES that can interact with and phosphorylate TYPE I BONE MORPHOGENETIC PROTEIN RECEPTORS.      Other names Receptor, BMPR2; Receptor, BMPR-II; BMPR II Receptor; Receptor, Type II BMP; Bone Morphogenetic Protein Receptor Type II; Bone Morphogenetic Protein Receptor II; BMPR2 Receptor; BMPR-II Receptor; BMP Type II Receptors; BMP Type II Receptor
