Definition: A TGF-beta subtype that plays role in regulating epithelial-mesenchymal interaction during embryonic development. The association of the cleavage products results in the formation a latent protein which must be activated to bind its receptor.      Other names TGFB3; TGF beta3 Latency Associated Protein; TGF beta3; TGF beta 3; Latency-Associated Protein, TGF-beta3; Transforming Growth Factor beta 3 Latency Associat; TGF-beta3LAP; TGF-beta3 Latency-Associated Protein; TGF-beta-3; TGF-beta3
