Definition: A cyclin subtype that is found associated with CYCLIN-DEPENDENT KINASE 9. Unlike traditional cyclins, which regulate the CELL CYCLE, type T cyclins appear to regulate transcription and are components of positive transcriptional elongation factor B.      Other names Cyclins, Type T; Cyclin, Type T; Type T Cyclins; Type T Cyclin; Cyclin T3; Cyclin T2; Cyclin T1
