Prostatein

Definition: A secreted prostate-specific protein which can bind non-polar steroids, cholesterol and a group of small, proline-rich peptides. The protein is specifically found in RATS and comprises three distinct secretoglobin-related subunits referred to as prostatic steroid-binding protein C1, C2 and C3.      Other names Steroid-Binding Protein, Prostatic; Prostatic Steroid Binding Protein; Prostatic Steroid-Binding Protein
