Glucuronic Acid

Definition: Derivatives of uronic acid found throughout the plant and animal kingdoms. They detoxify drugs and toxins by conjugating with them to form GLUCURONIDES in the liver which are more water-soluble metabolites that can be easily eliminated from the body.  GLUCURONIC ACIDS is available
